A man is in custody after a shooting on Green Bay's west side.

On March 7, police were called to the 1300 block of S Taylor St for reports of multiple shots fired. Witnesses reported hearing four-to-six gunshots. They saw a dark-colored vehicle leave the scene.

Police found a vehicle in a parking lot with several bullet holes. They also located spent shell casings.

Officers tracked the suspect to E. Walnut St. They spotted him running with a gun, police say.

A K-9 helped officers track the man down. He was taken into custody and the gun was found.

There were no reports of injuries related to the shooting. The department is not looking for additional suspects.

Officers received the shots fired reports at 11:34 p.m.

The suspect is being held on a probation warrant. Charges will be referred to the Brown County District Attorney's Office.
