Hamilton set for Oct. 1-20 at Fox Cities Performing Arts Center

APPLETON, Wis. (WBAY) - The Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning smash hit musical Hamilton will make its Wisconsin premiere at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center in October.

Hamilton, a musical that uses rap, hip-hop and R&B to tell the story of founding father Alexander Hamilton, will be in Appleton Oct. 1-20, 2019.

Hamilton is the vision of actor/playwright/composer Lin-Manuel Miranda. It premiered on Broadway in 2015 and became the hottest ticket in New York City. The show won 11 Tony Awards and a Pulitzer Prize.

It is now on its US tour and its first Wisconsin stop will be Appleton.

Hamilton is part of the Kimberly-Clark Broadway Across America - Fox Cities Series. Season Ticket Packages go on sale at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 13. The five-show package starts at $250. The six-show package starts at $300.
