Group calls on Rep. Gallagher to meet with them
A group from Northeast Wisconsin is calling on Republican Congressman Mike Gallagher to attend a town hall they've invited him to later this month when Congress goes into recess.
Earlier this week organizers delivered a letter to Gallagher's office inviting him to a town hall-style meeting at the Brown County Central Library on May 30.
Friday the group renewed its calls to Gallagher after hearing he would be out of town for their event.
"The longer senators disregard meetings with their constituents, the more emotional we become about it. It's hard to have a meeting without voices raising a bit because we just feel out of the loop," Barbara Fease from Appleton said.
