GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - Green Bay public schools are making up for days lost to the snow and cold by making the school days longer and extending two half-days.
Friday, February 22, and Friday, April 5, were going to be early release days. Now they will be full days of classroom time.
Starting Monday, February 25, school days will start 5 minutes earlier and end 10 minutes later.
The school district is also planning in case more snow days are needed this winter.
If the weather causes a two-hour late start or an early release, Friday, May 17, will become a full day of school, also.
If the weather causes another late start or early release, more time might be added to the school days.
And if the weather forces more snow days, the school year will be extended to June 10 or later.
