Police in Luxemburg say a man suspected in an armed robbery in the village matches the description of a man arrested for three robberies in Green Bay.

Luxemburg Police say the man held up Main Street Crossing at 107 Main Street about 40 minutes after the last of a series of robberies in Green Bay.

At 4:53 a.m., a white male with red hair and bushy beard pulled a handgun from his pocket and demanded all the money in the register at Main Street Crossing, according to a clerk. The man got away with $500 in cash.

Police say he took off east on Highway 54 in a Silver SUV.

Surveillance video showed images of the suspect wearing a black hat with a white design on the front, a red coat, a black shirt with Bulls design, and dark pants.

During their investigation, Luxemburg Police were informed of three similar robberies in Green Bay. The man arrested in connection to those crimes matched the description of the Luxemburg suspect. The man's vehicle also matched the description of the SUV, police say.

"Digital images of the Luxemburg suspect were shared and the suspect in police custody was matched to the suspect in the images," Luxemburg Police say.

Green Bay Police had arrested the 25-year-old man as he was pulling into his home in Ashwaubenon Tuesday morning.

They believe he committed at least three armed robberies in Green Bay overnight. He pulled a gun during the crimes.

On Jan. 7, at about 7:30 p.m., the Superior Discount Liquor at 130 S. Military Ave in Green Bay was robbed.

The second robbery happened at the Dino Shell at 1828 S Ashland Ave in Green Bay. That crime happened at about 11 p.m.

The third robbery happened 4:15 a.m. at the Pit Row Shell in the 2500 block of University Ave.

Police used surveillance video from the two gas stations to identify the suspect.

"As he went along he got a little sloppy," Green Bay Police Commander of Investigations Paul Ebel says.

Green Bay Police are recommending charges of armed robbery to the Brown County District Attorney's Office.

Luxemburg Police say they are sharing information from their robbery with the Green Bay Police Department. Green Bay Police are helping them determine if the crimes are related.
