Green Bay Packers donate $20,000 to Toys for Tots

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - The Green Bay Packers have donated $20,000 to Toys for Tots.

The monetary donation is made in lieu of a gameday collection at Lambeau Field.

The Packers are also supporting a Saturday, Dec. 8 Toys for Tots drive at the Shopko store at the Bay Park Square Mall in Ashwaubenon. Fans are invited to donate toys, money and gifts for teens from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. All toys will be matched by Shopko.

WBAY-TV 2, Home Builders Association of the Fox Cities and the Salvation Army are proud to support the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots program.

The toys and other gifts are distributed to children and teens throughout Northeast Wisconsin. Bring a new, unwrapped toy for a boy or girl, infant to teen, to one of these many locations listed here: TOYS FOR TOTS DROP OFF SITES

The WBAY Lobby at 115 S. Jefferson St in Green Bay is one of those locations.

On Wednesday, Dec. 12, we're holding our Toys for Tots Last Call event at WBAY in Green Bay and the Home Builders Association of the Fox Cities in Appleton. U.S. Marines will do curbside pickup from 5 a.m. until 8 p.m.
