GRAND CHUTE, Wis. (WBAY) - Grand Chute Police say a 56-year-old Appleton man has been arrested in connection to the robbery of a Walmart store.

Police identified the suspect at Daniel J. Fox. He's in custody at the Outagamie County Jail.

The robbery happened Monday, July 29, at 955 N. Mutual Way. At about 11:30, a white man in his 30s or 40s walked up to the Walmart customer service counter. He handed a worker a note demanding money. His note said he had a gun, although he didn't display one. Police rarely reveal how much is taken in robberies.

The man left the store, but police didn't know which way he went.

The man was said to be wearing a lime green baseball cap, and a two-tone black and gray hoodie. His face and arms were painted.

Fox was arrested on Aug. 8.
