Governor Scott Walker got to take a step back in time Tuesday as he visited McDonald's in New London for "Take Your Governor to Work Day."
It's part of the Take Your Legislator to Work campaign, where businesses that employ people with disabilities welcome a lawmaker to see how programs helping employ those with disabilities are doing.
The governor joined David Pinno at McDonald's to see how David enjoys his job and to highlight programs that help people like David find independence.
"We have found with the folks we talked to and employers across the state is, when people make a point to hire people with disabilities, they are some of their most loyal and dependable workers, and that makes for a strong organization," Walker said.
Gov. Walker also said it brought back memories from when he worked at a McDonald's in Delavan in his younger years.
