GREENLEAF, Wis. (WBAY) - Gov. Tony Evers and Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes paid a visit to Brickstead Dairy in Greenleaf to celebrate Earth Day.
"I believe that good environmental stewardship is a Republican and Democratic issue. We want our farmers to be successful, we want them to have good crops, and also encourage them, and they are doing it on their own frankly to be good stewards of the land," Gov. Evers said.
The governor and lieutenant governor met with farming and environmental leaders to learn more about farming's impact on local communities.
