FREEDOM, Wis. (WBAY) - A fundraiser has been set up for a Freedom family who lost their home in a fire.

On March 8, firefighters were called to the Hennes home at a mobile home park on Broadway Drive. The crews arrived on scene to find the home in flames.

It took crews about 30 minutes to get the fire contained. The Hennes home was destroyed. The family is now working to start fresh.

A Facebook page for the Hennes Family House Fire Benefit says the family "is an amazing family who often volunteer their own time in their community."

The Hennes Family House Fire Benefit will be held April 13 at 4:30 p.m. at OverTime Bar & Grill, 1029 S Main St, Oshkosh.
