The State Patrol says the driver they were chasing on I-41 was suffering from a medical condition.
Police say it started about 10:30 on Tuesday night, with a hit and run crash on the highway's southbound lanes near Freedom Road.
Minutes later, a state trooper spotted a car speeding south near Wrightstown.
The trooper chased, but then slowed down. Moments later, the car hit a Jeep on I-41 near College Avenue in Appleton. That's when police discovered the crashes involved the same driver and that driver was suffering a medical problem.
No one was hurt in either crash and the driver was taken to the hospital.
