DODGE COUNTY, Wis. (WBAY) -- A Fond du Lac man seriously hurt in a crash in Dodge County on Saturday has a history of drunk driving, and the sheriff's office says he's been arrested for a fifth time for driving with a prohibited alcohol concentration.
Investigators are still figuring out the circumstances of the crash.
According to the Dodge County Sheriff's Office, the crash happened at 7:13 p.m. at the intersection of State Highway 28 with Highway 28/67/175, one mile north of Theresa.
The semi truck loaded with grain was going west and making a left turn at the intersection.
Todd Henke, 56, of Fond du Lac, was driving his pickup north.
The semi had a stop sign. North- and southbound traffic is not controlled.
Deputies say Henke wasn't wearing a seat belt, which contributed to the severity of his injuries. He was airlifted to the hospital and is expected to survive.
The truck driver, 48-year-old Dean Adelmeyer from Theresa, was treated at the hospital and released the same day.
The sheriff's office says more charges or citations are likely once the crash investigation is finished.
