Catholic Diocese receives grant to help families with flood expenses

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - People trying to make repairs after recent flooding in Northeast Wisconsin can get some financial help.

Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Green Bay received a $10,000 emergency grant to help up to 50 families.

Households earning less than $60,000 a year can request $200 to help with expenses.

People must live in one of the 16 counties in the Catholic Diocese of Green Bay.

The money will be distributed on a first-come/first-served basis and can be used for cleanup, replacing items, daily living expenses and other needs.
