Building for Kids museum offers free admission for diaper donations

APPLETON, Wis. (WBAY) - Two mainstays of the Appleton community are teaming up to collect diapers for non-profits that need them.

The Building for Kids Children's Museum and Kimberly-Clark celebrated the opening of a new "Toddlers Around the World" exhibit.

Families who bring an unopened package of diapers will receive free admission to the museum.

Huggies is matching all diaper donations, which will be distributed to the United Way Fox Cities diaper bank and Jake's Diapers of Little Chute.

"This donation is just tremendous opportunity for us to amplify our impact and help so many more families, and we cannot thank Kimberly-Clark and The Building Kids for enough this Great Diaper Drive," Stephanie Bowers, executive director of Jake's Diapers, said.

The diaper drive started Monday, January 21. It continues through Saturday, February 1.
