Hundreds came out to show their support and bike routes that ranged from two all the way to 100 miles. The ride raises money for youth mentoring in the community that currently works with more than 400 kids.

“Mentoring is very impactful for the kids that are lucky enough to have mentors. Our studies and research shows that kids who have mentors are able to resist negative peer pressure and often have more self-confidence, do better in school,” Johna Vandeurzen from Best Friends Neenah-Menasha says.

Best Friends of Neenah-Menasha is still looking for mentors to help around 60 kids right now. To become a mentor, or learn about other ways you can help Best Friends of Neenah-Menasha, visit bestfriendsnm.org.
