ALGOMA, Wis. (WBAY) - Wienke's Market in Algoma is recalling jams and jellies because the products contain butter, and it's not listed on the label.
Butter was added during processing, and it is a milk allergen, according to the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection.
People who are allergic to milk may have a reaction. Those who have no issues with milk can continue to eat the jams and jellies.
The products were sold in 8-ounce and 16-ounce containers at stores and specialty shops in Wisconsin, and online.
The recall includes products purchased before Jan. 17, 2018.
There are no reports of illnesses in people who ate these jams or jellies.
