This past weekend, he joined the Starkey Hearing Foundation along with his girlfriend, Danica Patrick, to give the gift of hearing to more than 100 people in need.

The foundation tells Action 2 News that Rodgers and Patrick went to the Starkey Hearing Institute in Lusaka, where students live and have graduated two classes of hearing instrument specialists since opening in 2016.

In the video, you see Rodgers helping those in need hear for the first time and have big smiles on their faces.

"This is a beautiful thing to be half way across the world helping these people out today. Just the look on their face, it means everything," said Rodgers.

He went on to say it was a very special experience and would love to do this again.

While on the mission trip, Rodgers posted a picture meeting the Dalai Lama.

So we got this going for us....which is nice. #dalailama
