AT&T helping students at risk of not graduating high school

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - AT&T contributed $4,000 to help Green Bay students at risk of not graduating high school to get career training opportunities.

Green Bay East High School has two classrooms for these students at "The Academy,"

"We have about an 83% success rate," lead teacher Katy Schroeder said. "We have over 100 students that have been enrolled in our program this year, and our goal is to get as many credit-deficient seniors to finish with a diploma as possible."

AT&T's donation will help students cover some of the costs associated with entering the workforce, including buying uniforms and equipment and getting the required certifications.
