2 transported to hospital after plane crash in Menominee County Saturday

MENOMINEE COUNTY, Wis. (WBAY) -- Two transported to hospital after plane crash in Menominee County Saturday afternoon.

The Menominee County Sheriff’s Office said four people were on the single engine plane when it crashed near County Highway M and State Highway 55 at 11:28 a.m.

Authorities say all four passengers sustained non-life threatening injuries, two were taken to a medical facility.

The plane took off from the Waupaca area and was headed to Iron Mountain, Michigan.

The investigation is ongoing.
