A southern girl at heart, Tia was born and raised in Houston. She's happy to call Green Bay home.

Tia Johnson is a multimedia journalist for WBAY and joined the team October 2018.

Before moving to Wisconsin, Tia was a multimedia journalist at the ABC affiliate in Lufkin, Texas.

A southern girl at heart, Tia was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She graduated with a B.A. in Mass Communication and a minor in Marketing from Prairie View A&M University. Go Panthers!

While in college, Tia interned at KBTX in College Station, Texas, and FOX 26 News in Houston.

Tia is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists.

When she isn’t reporting, Tia enjoys shopping, being involved in the community and spending time with loved ones. She is happy to call Green Bay home and can’t wait to report on the stories that matter the most to NE Wisconsin.
