Shannon Konoske began working as an Assignment Editor for TV6 & FOX UP in September 2021.
She has lived in Marquette County since 2017; however, her heart belongs to western Oregon where she is originally from.
A product of the Pacific Northwest, she frequently longs for the cover of emerald fir forests, the crash of waves on the Pacific coastline, and snow-capped mountain peaks visible from the Willamette Valley. However, in 2017 she traded in her western boots for snow boots and made the 2,100-mile drive to Marquette to pursue her Master of Arts degree in English at Northern Michigan University.
Finding reminders of the Oregon Coast in Lake Superior on stormy days, and beauty in the woods which erupt in color in the fall, Shannon now lives permanently in the U.P., but takes every opportunity to journey back home to Oregon.
