UPDATE: 21 people shot following Bucks game
MILWAUKEE (WBAY) - Milwaukee police confirmed 21 people were shot following Friday’s Bucks game.
Milwaukee police said multiple shootings occurred on the 1100 block of North Martin Luther King Drive and on the 1100 block of North Water Street.
They released the following descriptors for individuals with gunshot injuries who are expected to survive:
- A 30-year-old man
- A 26-year-old woman
- A 16-year-old woman
- A 20-year-old man
- A 20-year-old man
- A 40-year-old man
- A 35-year-old woman
- A 47-year-old woman
- An 18-year-old woman
- A 33-year-old man
- A 20-year-old woman
- An 18-year-old woman
- A 23-year-old man
- An 18-year-old man
- A 15-year-old man
- A 23-year-old man
The following individuals were shot, treated at a hospital and arrested:
- A 28-year-old man
- A 20-year-old man
- A 30-year-old man
- A 21-year-old man
- A 29-year-old man
Six additional arrests were made in connection to the incidents of a 19-year-old male, three 20-year-old males, a 23-year-old male and a 24-year-old male. Criminal charges are being referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
The Milwaukee Bucks issued a statement Saturday that reads:
The Milwaukee Police Department implemented a curfew Saturday between 11 p.m. and 5:30 a.m.
