HARTFORD, Wis. (AP) - One of two people injured when a small plane crashed in Washington County has died.
Sheriff’s officials say the woman who later died and a man were hurt when their plane crashed in a cornfield Saturday west of the Hartford Municipal Airport. Washington County Sheriff’s Office says the plane crash was reported about 11:22 a.m. Saturday.
The man was conscious but appeared to be in shock. The woman, who was reportedly unconscious, had to be extricated from the plane.
The sheriff’s office on Sunday reported that the woman had died. The victims’ names and ages were not released.
