Fire at Menasha paper mill

MENASHA, Wis. (WBAY) - Smoke billowed from a fire at the U.S. Paper mill in Menasha Wednesday morning.
Neenah-Menasha and Appleton fire crews responded to the mill since just after 6:30.
Police closed Washington Street, which is also State Highway 114, between Garfield and Water Street, advising drivers to find an alternate route.
There’s no word on what was burning in the plant or what caused the fire. This report will be updated as we learn more.
