MANITOWOC, Wis. (WBAY) - Madison-based food delivery service EatStreet plans to hire 50 drivers to expand its service into Manitowoc.

EatStreet will start service in Manitowoc on July 14. It says local restaurants and national chains are on-board, including Buffalo Wild Wings, Hartman’s Bakery and Pastry Shoppe, Kwik Trip, Legend Larry’s, Noodles & Company and Qdoba.

Delivery drivers are company employees, not contractors. EatStreet says it’s a way for a person to supplement their income since drivers set their own hours and keep all of their tips. There’s also a chance for daily pay and hourly earning incentives.

EatStreet provides drivers with gloves and hand sanitizer and money to purchase or make a face mask, and it promotes contactless delivery.

EatStreet hopes to have the 50 drivers hired in the next three months.
