Green Bay -
Green Bay city leaders say a popular attraction is coming back to the downtown riverfront next month.
Officials announced Thursday the tall ship The Peacemaker will dock along the CityDeck August 8-10.
The 140-foot tall ship was part of last summer's Baylake Bank Tall Ships Festival, which drew a number of sailing vessels and tens of thousands of people to the Fox River and Leicht Park.
City leaders say The Peacemaker's crew decided to come back because they enjoyed themselves in previous visits.
"We just really hit it off with the captain of The Peacemaker. It was the most visited ship when it was here years ago. And to bring that back to Green Bay for a weekend, I think it's just to be a lot of fun," Mayor Jim Schmitt said.
Tours of the tall ship will cost $5 for adults, $2 for children 16 and under.
