Fatal Waupaca Co. Crash Remains Mystery

What led up to a weekend accident that killed a teenager from New London is still a mystery as investigators continue to search for answers.

The Waupaca County Sheriff's Office says a vehicle hit and killed 18-year-old Tyler Court early Saturday just west of the intersection of Collier Road and Tank Road in the Town of Lebanon.

The Waupaca County sheriff says he's going through reports and talking with patrol officers Monday night before he will update the media on what investigators are learning about this deadly crash.

As investigators dig for information on the crash, those who knew Tyler are working to set up a cross as a roadside memorial for their friend.

The area where the crash happened is rural but has a steady amount of traffic resulting from local construction and people going to and from homes nearby.

According to Tyler's online obituary, he graduated this year from Menasha High School.

The Waupaca County Sheriff's Office says it wants to talk with anyone who might have information about the death of an 18-year-old New London man killed by a vehicle early Saturday morning.

Police say Tyler L. Court of New London was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on Collier Road about a half mile west of Tank Road.

Police want to talk to anyone who might have traveled Collier Road anytime around 2:30 a.m., which is when police received their first report on the incident.  Anyone who may have been in the area at the time is encouraged to call the Waupaca County Sheriff's Department.
