Sturgeon Bay manufacturer Thermo-Tron-X keeps growing
Sturgeon Bay -
A Door County manufacturer broke ground on a new addition to its business.
Therma-Tron-X in Sturgeon Bay is adding more than 26,000 square feet -- its fourth addition in the last three years.
The company does paint electrocoating, builds custom-made finishing ovens, and designs wastewater treatment systems for industrial clients.
Governor Walker, who attended Friday's groundbreaking ceremony, says it's the latest sign of investment to end outsourcing and keep jobs here.
"This is about 27,000 square feet and it means about 50 new jobs, and those are the sorts of things that are going to put more people to work back in this great state, and we're excited about that, and we want to make sure that continues to flourish," the governor said.
