Parkview Middle School in Ashwaubenon took time Thursday to prepare meals for people at Freedom House.
An 8th grade class volunteered to make, transport, and serve the meals at the home for homeless families.
The teacher of their class says he's glad his students are willing to help.
"It teaches them to be good human beings. I think that's the biggest lesson," 8th grade teacher Steve Mellberg said. "The average middle schooler isn't always interested in giving up his or her time, and it's great that we have lots of kids who are at this school."
