Two men were injured, and one was arrested, after a hit and run crash in Manitowoc Saturday night.

It happened around 8:30 p.m. at Marshall and South 16th streets.

According to the Manitowoc Police Department,  a 20-year-old man's vehicle struck a 56 year-old Manitowoc man riding a tricycle.

Authorities said the man on the tricycle went into the windshield of the other vehicle, but the driver did not stop.

The driver in the suspect vehicle continued to his home on South 13th Street, and struck another vehicle at the intersection of Marshall and South 14th streets along the way.

Police said the tricyclist pulled himself into the vehicle, and the suspect tried locking him inside.

Authorities said a witness followed the suspect to his home and called police.

The suspect was located in his residence and arrested.

The tricyclist managed to get out of the vehicle. He walked to the 1300 block of Marshall Street where police officers found him. He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries and later released.

The suspect was also taken to the hospital. Police said he sustained a significant cut on his hand. He was treated before being taken into custody.

He's facing charges of OWI Causing Injury, Hit and Run Causing Injury and Failure to Render Aid.

The investigation is ongoing.

Manitowoc Police are asking witnesses or anyone with information to contact them.
