Green Bay aims to 'Stock the Sleigh'

Officials say people visiting the downtown area in the coming days are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to put in a sleigh sitting outside city hall.  It is part of the city's Stock the Sleigh Food drive.

The donated goods will go to the two local food pantries Manna for Life and Paul's Pantry

"We want to be able to provide a family with enough food every week as needed for as long as possible, and this will help go a long way," said Paul's Pantry director Craig Robbins.

The food pantries tell Action 2 News they need canned meats and boxed food that can make a complete meal but any non-perishable item is always welcome.
