Coats for Kids Collection Underway

Brown County - Before you know it, the temperatures will be dropping and we'll need to bundle up. The 27th annual Coats for Kids drive to help children in need stay warm in the winter months kicks off Sunday at Lambeau Field, where the Packers host the New York Jets.

The Salvation Army of Brown County is collecting new or gently-used winter coats for children ages birth to 18. Volunteers from the Salvation Army workers and WBAY will collect coats in the Lambeau Field parking lot and every gate to the stadium from 11:25 a.m. until kickoff. Cash donations are also accepted. Last year, fans donated 592 coats and $14,621 in the one-day coat drive at Lambeau Field!

The Coats for Kids donation drive goes through November 2.

Coats can be dropped off at these locations:
  • The Salvation Army, 626 Union Ct., Green Bay
  • The Salvation Army Kroc Center, 1315 Lime Kiln Rd., Green Bay
