Packers Wearing Throwback Uniforms October 20th

The Green Bay Packers are bringing back the throwback uniforms this season.

The team will wear the 1929 blue and gold replicas against the Cleveland Browns at Lambeau Field on October 20.

It's the third time the Packers have worn the blue and gold uni's.

Aaron Rodgers and Tim Masthay are among the guys who call the brown pants the most comfortable they've worn.

And they played like it, beating the Rams 24-3 the last time they wore them, in the 2011 season.

The year before, they beat the 49ers 34-16. That game is most remembered for what many consider the signature play of Donald Driver's career. In fact, that was the last time they beat the Niners.

Too bad they can't wear them in the opener in San Francisco this year.
