"Real reform doesn't happen in our nation's capitol," Walker told the group at CPAC, outside of Washington D.C. "It happens in our state houses all across this great country."

Governor Walker also reportedly told Politico Friday he won't commit to serving an entire second four-year term if re-elected.

"Don't back down," Walker told the cheering crowd Saturday morning. "Don't take your foot off the gas. Now is the time to tell all of America, one state after another until we take our message to Washington that true reform comes with an optimistic and relevant message, but most importantly a courageous message that says in America we believe in the people, not the government."

In May, Governor Walker is scheduled to be a headliner at a key fundraising event in Iowa.
