Clay Matthews was officially ruled out Friday for Sunday's game. Minnesota's Percy Harvin is listed as doubtful with an ankle injury after missing the last two games.
Resilience is the ability to recover from adversity, and the Packers have displayed this trait by not losing back-to-back games all season.
After a 28-point loss to the New York Giants, resilience will be needed this week.
In preparation for divisional games, Coach Mike McCarthy always puts up motivational posters in the locker room with a one word message. This week's word is "Urgency."
Green Bay still controls its destiny in the NFC North, but a loss Sunday would put control in someone else's hands.
"I think you find out something about your team every week. Obviously we
have a different challenge because of what happened last week. When
you get hit like we did on Sunday, it's important to bounce back and
show what kind of team we are, but more importantly we need to go win
this division game," head coach Mike McCarthy said.
"December football is the best football. A lot of teams in this league get a fast start, and all they do is start and they never finish. Our team, we're looking to finish, and hopefully we can be playing football in February," Packers cornerback Davon House said.
