Freezing rain is leading to slick roads for morning commuters in parts of Northeast Wisconsin.
The problems are mostly being reported in Fond du Lac and Winnebago Counties. Just before 7:00 a.m. Tuesday, the Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Department reported numerous minor accidents around their county. The Winnebago County Sheriff's Department reported several slide-offs on Highway 41, mostly south of Oshkosh.
The Department of Transportation reported ice covered conditions on Hwy. 41 from Oshkosh south to Lomira, on Hwy. 45 from Oshkosh to West Bend, on Hwy. 23 from Ripon east to Sheboygan, and on Hwy. 151 from Fond du Lac southwest to Waupun.
