Meteorologist Rebecca Schuld joined Action 2 News in October, 2010. A native of the Green Bay area, Rebecca is thrilled to be forecasting weather in her hometown.
"Growing up, I was fascinated with tornadoes. As a kid I read books about them and spent many days on the front porch watching storms roll in. My interest with summer storms really sparked my interest in forecasting," she says.
Rebecca received her Bachelor of Science Degree from UW-Green Bay in Biology and Environmental Science. She went on to study Meteorology through the USDA Graduate School.
In March, 2010, she was awarded the AMS Seal of Approval from the American Meteorological Society, and is also a member of the local AMS Packerland Chapter.
Off the clock, Rebecca enjoys the outdoors when the weather is warm. "I love anything outside during the summer, especially gardening, walking, biking and disc golfing."
Catch Rebecca's forecast during Action 2 News Weekend Morning Edition and during the week on Action 2 News at Noon and Action 2 News at Four.
