Brown County Launches Crime-mapping Web Site

Updated:

Brown County is adding crime mapping to help the public stay aware of crime in their neighborhood.

The sheriff department's new web site allows the public to review crimes committed in the past year in Brown County, where they happened, and what happened.

The web site also provides graphs and charts of crime activity and allows you to request email alerts when crimes are committed in a particular neighborhood.

The crime mapping page also gives deputies easy access to information, and they hope it encourages the public to contact them with information to solve or prevent crimes.
