After four years of planning and construction, a major downtown development project is finally ready to be unveiled in downtown Green Bay.
The CityDeck is a boardwalk along the eastside of the Fox River.
It runs from Walnut to Main street.
After the Holiday Parade Saturday morning, the city hosted a ceremony celebrating the finished product.
Green Bay Mayor Jim Schmitt said, "I think this is something we'll enjoy today but our kids and grand kids will enjoy this. This is a good change for downtown and great thing for Green Bay."
"It is just incredible. I feel emotional. It's just so exciting to see so many people out here celebrating something so cool happening in their city," said Jeff Mirkes of Downtown Green Bay, Inc.
