Woman Injured in Manitowoc Shooting

Manitowoc police are investigating a shooting Wednesday night.

Officers were called to an apartment complex on Manitowoc's north side just 10:00 p.m. One woman had been shot in her lower leg. Police say her injury was not life threatening. The man suspected of shooting her was taken into custody.

Police say the investigation is still very preliminary, and they will release more specific details, including the address of where the shooting happened, once they learn more about the incident.
