Brett Favre won the Packers and Vikings first meeting by beating the Packers defense at nearly every turn. His quick release negated Dom Capers's ability to blitz.
The Packers shut down Adrian Peterson, but now they want to shut down Favre as well.
"He runs that West Coast offense so well, gets rid of the ball, but we have to show him some things to confuse him. I mean, even if he gets rid of it fast, so what? We can still put pressure on him because we have good defensive backs," Packers linebacker Nick Barnett said.
"We have some things to fix. We may put some pressure on him, but hopefully show him some things that will confuse him so then he won't know what we're doing," cornerback Tramon Williams said.
