LA CROSSE, Wis. (WBAY) - At the WIAA State Track & Field meet in La Crosse, Kimberly won the boys Division 1 crown for a 2nd consecutive season, easily outscoring 2nd-place Oak Creek by 29 pts. The Papermakers scored 74 points.
On Saturday, the Kimberly' 4x800 relay team won. Papermaker hurdlers dominated as well. D.J. Stewart won the 300 hurdles, while finishing 3rd in the 110 hurdles. Teammate Austin Wallace took 2nd in the 110's and 3rd in the 300 hurdles.
Badger football recruit Boyd Dietzen took 4th place in the Division 1 discus after taking 3rd in shot put on Friday.
The Xavier girls took runner up honors in Division 2 following great relay results with a 4x100 win and a 4x400 runner up finish.

On Friday, De Pere's Olivia Fabry won the Girls Division 1 pole vault, clearing 12'6", one inch high of the state meet record.
Fond du Lac's Andrew Stone won the Boys Division 1 shot put with a heave of 63'10".
In Division 2, Peshtigo's Max Rauch won the boys pole vault at 14'6".
Valders' Trevor Wenzel won the D2 boys 1600 meter run in a time of 4:20.70.
In Division 3, Algoma's Elizabeth McClure won the girls high jump at 5'4".
Hilbert/Stockbridge's girls 4x800 relay team won the D3 crown with a time of 9:47.72.
