OSHKOSH, Wis. (WBAY) - A number of high school graduates are putting the pads back on this week for the annual WFCA All-Star games Saturday at Titan Stadium.
2017 marks the 3rd year in a row that the high-scoring. trick-play packed 8-man football division will be included.
But don't be fooled by geography, players from our area are all on the South all-star team.
It’s a little odd for our area teams, but forget the details, this is one last chance to buckle up those chinstraps!
“IIt's really exciting actually,” said Valley Christian’s Brent Keifer. “Our season got cut short because we lost a bunch of guys due to injury so it's really nice to get the pads back on and play one last game before college.”
“It feels fun to be with the best players in the Great 8 North and the South conferences,” said Green Bay N.E.W.’s Josh Waldschmidt. “It's just been an honor to be here.”
