CALUMET CO., Wis. (WBAY) -- Two people have been charged for sexually assaulting an Appleton woman over the weekend.
Sergio David Lara, 22 and Junior Alexander Zavala-Lara, 25, both of Appleton, have been charged with Second Degree Sexual Assault/Aided by Another, according to court records.
Bond was set Tuesday at $100,000 for both suspects.
According to the Appleton Police Department, officers responded to a report of a sexual assault of a woman on the 2200 block of S. Oneida Street around 12:30 a.m. Sunday.
Police say both suspects fled the scene, but were stopped shortly after by a Fox Crossing Police Department officer.
Both suspects were taken into custody without incident.
