MANITOWOC, Wis. (WBAY) - The American Red Cross tells Action 2 News that all of the tenants displaced by last week's fire at Parkview Haven apartments have found a new place to live.

The fire happened May 10. One tenant died and almost 90 were forced out of their homes. Many have disabilities.

A shelter for them was set up at Woodrow Wilson Junior High.

The Red Cross says everyone now has temporary or permanent housing, and the last 15 tenants will move out of the shelter by Saturday night.

The Salvation Army says renovations and cleaning are underway at Parkview Haven but it will be at least a couple more weeks before anyone can move back in. On Wednesday, tenants were allowed back to their apartments for the first time since the fire to collect some belongings.
