Sheboygan man indicted for making child porn in Philippines

WASHINGTON (WBAY) - A Sheboygan man has been indicted for producing child pornography outside of the United States.

Jeffrey H. Ernisse, 61, was indicted by a federal grand jury on two counts of producing child pornography, two counts of producing child pornography outside of the United States, one count of engaging in illicit sexual conduct with a minor in the Philippines and one count of possessing child pornography.

The indictment lays out the dates for the alleged offenses:

Between June 17, 2014 and April 11, 2015: Ernisse allegedly had sexual contact with a minor in the Philippines, according to the indictment.

On March 10, 2015 and on April 7, 2015: Ernisse had sexual contact with a minor for the purpose of making child porn, according to the indictment.

On Dec. 18, 2015: Ernisse possessed child pornography, according to the indictment.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement is investigating the case with help from Sheboygan Police.

The case is being prosecuted in the Eastern District of Wisconsin.

In 2016, a Sheboygan County judge sentenced Ernisse to five years in prison for Possession of Child Pornography. He is currently serving a sentence at Redgranite Correctional Institution.
