Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and wide receiver Randall Cobb will get people of all ages excited about fitness during a visit to UW-Green Bay Friday.
The Prevea Get After It LIVE event is being held at the Kress Events Center. The hours are 2 p.m. - 5 p.m.
The event includes sports like basketball, volleyball soccer, and tumbling led by UWGB athletes and coaches.
Aaron Rodgers and Randall Cobb will sign autographs. Cobb will hold a cooking demonstration from his new cookbook.
Rodgers will sign Prevea footballs for the first 100 kids who arrive at the event. [He will only sign these special footballs, so fans are asked to leave jerseys, helmets, and other memorabilia at home.]
Cobb will sign copies of his cookbook.
It's free and open to people of all ages.
"I think many, many people look up to Aaron and Randall. As they should, they're great athletes, but they're great people off the field," says Dr. Ashok Rai, President & CEO of Prevea Health. "As community leaders, they have the ability to influence using their position to really educate, especially when it comes to our youth. When Aaron and Randall tell you to eat healthy, it goes a lot further than when I tell you to eat healthy."
After the free portion of the program, Prevea will hold a special presentation in the Kress Events Center Arena form 5 p.m. - 5:45 p.m. Rodgers and Cobb will host a question and answer session. Tickets are needed for the special presentation. They cost $5 and can be purchased at the door.
