Green Bay police seek Walgreens robbery suspect

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) - UPDATE: 4/9:

Green Bay Police have released photos of a suspect wanted in connection to an armed robbery at a Walgreens store.

Police say the man is suspected of robbing the store at 1401 E. Mason Street in the early morning hours of April 8.

A man with a knife walked into the store and demanded the clerk give him cash.

The suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of money.

No one was hurt.

The crime happened about 1 a.m.

On Monday, police released surveillance photos attached with this story.

The suspect is described as:

Black male

5'9"

Heavy set

Green Bay Police are asking for your help to find a man they say robbed a Walgreens.

Police got the call just after 1 a.m on Sunday saying a heavier set black man, about 5’9”, and 40-years-old walked in to the Walgreens on East Mason and Baird Streets. He took out a weapon, demanding money.

After getting some money from the store, authorities said he ran off without hurting anyone.
