Oshkosh Defense receives $195 million order from U.S. Army

OSHKOSH, Wis. (WBAY) - Oshkosh Defense has received another multi-million dollar order from the U.S. Army.

The company announced Tuesday that the Army has placed a $195 million order for Joint Light Tactical Vehicles.

The Army's order requests 748 JLTVs and 2,359 kits.

This is the U.S. Army's fifth order for JLTVs since 2015.

The JLTV is smaller and lighter than the company's MRAP All-Terrain Vehicle. It has off-road speeds of 70 mph.
