One person hospitalized after crash in Waupaca County

WAUPACA COUNTY, Wis. (WBAY) -- One person is in the hospital after a car crash in Waupaca County on Christmas Eve.

The Waupaca County Sheriff's Office says an SUV going east on Highway 10 struck the median and rolled into the westbound lanes of Highway 10 striking a sedan going west.

The crash happened in the Township of Farmington around 12:45 p.m. Sunday.

Officials say the driver of the SUV has significant injuries from the crash and was taken to ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Neenah.

The driver of the sedan was not injured and the sedan had minimal damage.

The incident is under investigation.

Names of the people involved have not been released.
